The Belfry has a portfolio of restaurants and bars offering a variety of cuisine and dinning experiences. The French Restaurant offers a fine dining opportunity to our guests whilst The Atrium Restaurant supplies a more relaxed, informal atmosphere. The opulence of The Belfry Bar serves as a comfortable environment for business and leisure guests and offers a wide selection of beverages and a light snack and tapas menu. Sam's Bar and Grill is an ideal choice for our golf and leisure guests seeking a lively environment to eat and drink.
All of these outlets provide a diverse experience to our guests and we look to harmonise their experience by having the appropriate staff within each of them. We look for positivity and enthusiasm over specific experience. 'Hire the attitude and train the skill' is our philosophy. We offer opportunity in this area both for full and part time positions with great scope for a career path. Hours will include evenings and weekends.
Kitchen
At The Belfry we believe that offering a wide variety of menu options is paramount to our success. We have a strong brigade of over 60 Chefs at varying stages of development who use their experience and imagination to create menu's that entice and delight our guests. We are keen to recruit individuals that are willing to learn and are enthusiastic about gaining experince within a world renowned resort.
Conference and Banqueting
With 21 Conference and Banqueting Rooms at The Belfry we host a variety of business and private functions, ranging from Conferences and Weddings to Christmas parties. At any one time we can accommodate up to 1,200 people within our Conference and Banqueting facilities. There is often opportunities within this department, whether you are a Conference and Banqueting Assistant serving our guests or an Assistant Banqueting Manager, running the event. Roles are also available within this area on a Part Time basis.
Front of House
First impressions count and therefore it is vital that our Front of House team offer a genuinely warm welcome to all of our guests. We look for enthusiastic, highly professional individuals that can provide consistently high levels of customer service. The team are responsible for meeting and greeting every customer, checking guests in and out, dealing with enquiries and asnwering telephones.
This department offers the perfect environment for meeting and interacting with people from all over the world. The structure within the team has great opportunity for development and career progression from Receptionist to Shift Leader all the way through to Front of House Manager.
Housekeeping
With 324 bedrooms alone to clean we need hard working and highly motivated poeple within this department to keep our hotel clean and inviting for all of our guests. As a Housekeeping Assistant you will ensure that our hotel bedrooms and public areas are presented to the highest standards. If you enjoy cleaning, can organise yourself effectively and work to high personal standards, this demanding, yet very satisfying full or part time role may be right for you. With a strong team of over 80 personnel this area has excellent development opportunities and we can offer daytime hours.
Sales and Reservations
If you enjoy being busy, working under pressure and want to be part of a successful team this could be the department for you. Our Sales activities are divided into Group Sales, Pro-active Sales and Business Development, Reservations, Event Co-ordination and Revenue. Whether it be a booking from an individual golfer, a hotel bedroom reservation, through to the booking of a Company AGM - our Sales Team are the first point of contact for our customers. The department also proactively seeks out sales opportunities for the business by creating and developing relationships with corporate clients and individuals. This area also looks after the selling of Special Events, including wedding packages, Christmas parties and special occasions.
Leisure, Health and Beauty
The Belfry offers opportunities in a variety of disciplines from Spa and Holistic Therapist, Hair Technicians through to Fitness Instructors and Leisure Assiatants. If you enjoy the energetic environment of the Gym or prefer the tranquility of The Spa there are roles in both areas based on full and part time hours.
Property
With a resort the size of The Belfry we need to continually maintain our buildings and facilities effectively. This team includes plumbers, electricians, carpenters and painters.
Human Resources

We are engaged in a wide variety of specialist and generalist activities but whatever we are involved in, our key objective is to develop an inclusive environment that attracts, develops and retains a motivated, empowered and customer driven team.
Finance
If you have a head for figures and want to pursue a career in finance, a role at The Belfry may open the right avenue for you. There are many opportunities for varied work across purchase ledger, cash control, cashiers and financial control. For an opportunity in finance, you will ideally be studying a business related or numerate qualification with a strong emphasis on analytical skills.
Golf
As host for 4 Ryder Cup Matches - The Belfry is probably best known for its Golf. This area is home to the Golf Operations Team, Golf Professionals, Trainee Professionals, The PGA National Training Academy team, Greenkeeping and The Shop. If you have a real; passion for Golf then we offer a variety of opportunities for you ranging from a future shaping Greens to a retail career within the largest on site shop in Europe.
